Job Description

CloudOps’ Sales Development Representative will work directly with prospects from initial engagement (with lightning fast first outreach) to qualification (SQL) and opportunity creation.

The SDR will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Understand CloudOps’ services/products, value proposition, and positioning.
  • Outreach new assigned leads within 48 hours of acquiring said lead (more urgency for inbound inquiries)
  • Maximize ability to qualify leads by reaching out to prospects regularly and with engagement and responsiveness in order to engage them in meaningful conversation.
  • Track all leads, activities, and call notes using Hubspot.com.
  • Attend workshops, partner events, meet-ups, and tradeshows depending on assigned events where there are opportunities to engage with prospects and create other opportunities
  • Maintain a relationship and regular cadence with contacts at partner organisations in order to create opportunities
  • Register leads with CloudOps’ partners

 

Other responsibilities

  • Remain up-to-date on industry trends and competitor positioning within the marketplace.
  • Complete all partner sales certifications and keep up to date with new partnerships
  • Perform additional duties as required.
