Account Manager

CloudOps is one of Canada’s fastest growing cloud service providers with customers in Canada, the US, and abroad. We are growing quickly and are looking for professional individuals to be part of the exploding Canadian cloud computing market.
As part of the sales team your objective will be to grow a targeted client base. This will include working with the team to increase sales revenue within your assigned territory and accounts, which will be large enterprises and public organizations. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring good relationships with existing customers. You will work within a multidisciplinary team (development, support, PS, management) to successfully position CloudOps’ projects and resolve issues with customers. You will be a key contributor to expanding the company’s footprint within our customer accounts and increasing revenues.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactive prospecting within existing accounts to generate new opportunities and close existing ones.
  • Pursue inbound leads from website inquiries and marketing events as well as drive new business leads within your designated territory and accounts. 
  • Sell our solutions to customers by showcasing the value of CloudOps’ solutions.
  • Engage with distributors and vendors to prepare quotes for pricing.
  • Clearly define CloudOps’ strategy to prospects, customers and partners by demonstrating the value of public, private and hybrid clouds as well as managed services and networking solutions.
  • Archive sales quotes for quarterly assigned sales targets.
  • Keep accurate records of all account management activities including sales.
  • Use the corporate CRM to manage calls, close sales, and update customer information on current and potential accounts.
  • Establish and maintain internal and external relationships in a professional, competent and ethical manner.
  • Continuously learn about relevant products and strategies with support from the product management and sales teams.


Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor degree in sales, marketing, commerce, IT,  software engineering or a related degree.
  • 5 years of experience in technical sales or account management roles.
  • Familiarity with Quebec’s cloud systems and regulations.
  • Experience with partnership management as a channel manager.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and articulate basic technical aspects of CloudOps’ solutions (automation, hypervisor, containers, storage, public clouds, ADC, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, client-facing and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial, driven, and passionate
  • Ability to work within a diverse team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
